1/4 Cup Salt
1/4 Cup Brown sugar
1/4 Cup Smoked Paprika
1 tbsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp Onion powder
1 tbsp Pepper
1 tbsp Tumeric
Mix all ingredients into a jar.
Shake well.

Pressure Cooked Whole Chicken
Ingredients
Instructions
- Whole chicken
- 1 tbsp chopped rosemary
- 2 tbsp olive oil for seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil for pot
- 6 cloves garlic or 2 tbsp minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp complete seasoning
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
- 1.5 cups chicken or beef broth
- 2 onions
Instructions
- Remove anything in the cavity, rinse chicken with cold water and pat dry with paper towels and set aside
- In a small bowl, combine spices and oil
- Set stovetop to 5 or 6 and put in the oil
- Coat the chicken liberally with the spice paste and put a lemon or one of the onions inside
- Brown the chicken in the pot for 4 minutes on each side
- Set chicken aside
- Cut onion into wedges and put in pot to start browning
- Add broth to pot and scrape any brown bits from the bottom of the pot with a spatula
- Put the chicken back into the cooker breast side up
- Close the pressure cooker lid and set the stovetop to high
- Once the cooker begins to emit steam, reduce the stove to 4.5 and set a timer for 6 minutes per pound of the chicken
- Once the timer is up, remove from heat and wait for the pressure indicator to go down or wait 10 min
- Carefully remove lid and place chicken on cutting board to prep
